Microsoft Copilot available in Dutch from March/April
Microsoft 365 Copilot was launched within CSP in mid-January. Copilot is the digital assistant based on AI and helps users with various tasks, mainly within the Microsoft package. It was recently announced that Copilot for Microsoft 365 will also be released in Dutch in March or April.

Expansion of the Copilot for Microsoft 365 prerequisite licensing requirements
Currently, Copilot for Microsoft 365 licensing requirements mandate the customer to own a prerequisite license of Microsoft 365 E3/5, Office 365 E3/5, or Microsoft 365 Business Standard/Business Premium for each Copilot user.
In the coming weeks, the Copilot for Microsoft 365 prerequisite licensing requirements will be expanded to include Microsoft 365 F1, Microsoft 365 F3, Office 365 E1, Microsoft 365 Business Basic, and more.

On March 1, Microsoft Copilot for Sales and Microsoft Copilot for Service were launched within CSP.

Copilot for Sales helps sales teams save time and energy, generate innovative ideas, build stronger customer relationships and ultimately close more deals.

Copilot for Service is designed specifically for service-oriented contact centers. By being able to access real-time information, it helps increase employee productivity and improve customer satisfaction.

Three new solutions added to the Microsoft Intune Suite
Microsoft Intune Advanced Analytics (AI, analytics and actionable insights), Microsoft Intune Enterprise Application Management (proactive, simple and secure deployment and management of apps) and Microsoft Cloud PKI (simple and automated management of cloud certificates) are now widely available and are also all included in the Intune Suite.

Exchange mailbox entitlements for Microsoft 365 F1 users.
Users with a Microsoft 365 F1 subscription are not entitled to an Exchange mailbox. To enable a full Teams experience, Microsoft 365 F1 licenses come with an Exchange Online Kiosk subscription. Thus, although the Exchange Online Kiosk subscription will set up a mailbox for the user, Microsoft 365 F1 users do not have rights to use the mailbox.

Microsoft Azure Information Protection Plan 1 no longer available
Azure Information Protection Plan 1 is no longer available as a separate subscription through CSP. This is due to the transition to Microsoft Purview Information Protection included in Microsoft 365 Business Premium, E3 and E5.

Business Apps: Power Platform & Dynamics 365
"Power BI Free" no longer sufficient for viewing reports
If you currently want to view Power BI reports you need at least a Power BI Pro license. Where previously a Power BI Free license was sufficient to read a report/dashboard, nowadays a Power BI Pro or Power BI Premium license is required to create as well as read reports. If an organization has Premium capacity, a Power BI Free license does suffice for viewing content.

NEW: Dynamics 365 Finance Premium
Earlier this year, Dynamics 365 Finance Premium was released. It offers the same functionality as the regular Dynamics 365 Finance license plus tools to create advanced financial plans, budgets and analysis. The minimum purchase of this license was recently adjusted to 10 units, which was 20.

Easier license management possible within Power Apps
Microsoft has made it easier for administrators to manage Power Apps per-user licenses with a number of changes. These include automatic assignment of licenses, automatic creation of auto-claim policies and managing them. These changes are intended to make Power Apps license management more efficient and user-friendly for administrators.

Power Virtual Agents now part of Microsoft Copilot Studio
Power Virtual Agents capabilities are now part of Microsoft Copilot Studio, a graphical development environment for building copilots using generative AI. As a result, the name Power Virtual Agents is no longer used.

Microsoft 365 E3 promo extended through June 30, 2024
New Microsoft 365 E3 customers (without Teams) who subscribe benefit from a 15% discount! This discount is only valid on annual subscriptions within the Microsoft NCE model. This promo has been extended through June 30, 2024.
Discount on Windows 365 for new customers
Until June 30, 2024, new customers benefit from a promo on Windows 365 Business (20% discount) and Windows 365 Enterprise ( 15% discount ). This discount applies to both monthly and annual subscriptions.
Roadmap
The following developments were recently announced by Microsoft:

Microsoft Nonprofit and Academic subscriptions will become available in different groups within NCE starting in March. These plans will be added to the NCE portfolio during the next month(s).

In the second quarter of 2024, it is going to be possible to transfer ongoing NCE subscriptions from a customer to another partner. Thus, where until now a customer can only transfer an annual subscription after it expires, it will become possible to do so during the term. More details to follow.
