Copaco acquires BuyBay activities and strengthens the circular IT and e-commerce chain

Copaco continues the activities of BuyBay B.V. Through the acquisition of the Dutch specialist in returns processing and overstock, Copaco gives products a second life and strengthens its contribution to a more sustainable supply chain.

Copaco N.V. today announces the acquisition of the activities of BuyBay B.V. Founded in 2014, BuyBay specializes in the sustainable processing, refurbishment and resale of returned products and overstock from webshops, retailers, distributors and manufacturers.

Through this acquisition, Copaco aims to continue and further develop the expertise and services built up by BuyBay within its existing organization. The activities closely align with Copaco’s ambitions in the areas of sustainability, circularity and logistics services.

BuyBay has developed a specialized approach in which products are inspected, tested, cleaned and prepared for resale. This enables products to retain their economic value while reducing waste throughout the supply chain.
