At the end of 2016, we informed you that Nomadesk would increase its prices as of 1 January 2017. For all licenses that were ordered by you before 31 December 2016, a two-year price protection was introduced at the time.
This period of price protection will cease to exist on 1 January 2019 and the prices will therefore be increased for everyone.
The new priCes at a glance:
- Recommended retail price: € 10.00 per user per month, purchase price reseller: € 7.80
- Recommended retail price: € 108.00 per user per year, purchase price reseller: € 84.24
Why did Nomadesk raise her prices?
The continuous improvement of quality and the addition of functionalities has so far never led to a price increase. However, the costs have risen over the years. The average storage of Nomadesk users has also increased by 400% per user, while the infrastructure costs have not decreased proportionally.
In addition, the current pricing no longer fits the service that is provided. Nomadesk wants to remain a credible partner, focused on delivering a premium service. The price increase puts Nomadesk on an equal footing with the market.
Does your customer use the license according to the Nomadesk Policy?
Nomadesk has informed us that there are several customers who do not use the Nomadesk licenses according to the Fair Usage Policy. Each Nomadesk account can only be used by one person and may not be shared with other people. It seems, however, that some customers purchase one license, but that license is used by several people. Please ensure that your customers use the Nomadesk licenses according to the Nomadesk Policy. There is also a good chance that you will lose revenue in this way.
