As an extension of the Copaco Cloud Value Academy, we are organising a commercial Azure Virtual Desktop webinar. We are organising this session to update our Copaco Cloud Azure CSP partners on Azure Virtual Desktop. Since going live at the end of 2019, AVD has made great strides and developed into a fully deployable solution for end customers. In this webinar, we would like to explain this in more detail.

Why is Azure Virtual Desktop so hot?

Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) is a solution from the Microsoft Azure portfolio for offering remote workstations based on Windows 10. AVD offers an optimal user experience through integration with Office 365 and a Windows 10 workstation. In addition, AVD is a cheaper alternative due to the pay-as-you-go model. This allows end users to scale up or down flexibly and automatically. Finally, you benefit from less management of services due to the responsibility that Microsoft takes in this area.

• More modern, because it is based on Windows 10 instead of Windows Server.
• More secure, for example through the native integration with Azure MFA and Conditional Access.
• Cheaper, because of various licence advantages and the pay-per-user price model of Azure.
