Copaco extends Infrastructure-as-a-Service offering with Copaco VMware Cloud

Copaco VMware Cloud is a VMware-based infrastructure, which is hosted by Copaco in datacentres in the Netherlands and Belgium. With VMware Cloud, Copaco offers its partners an advanced IaaS platform, which is characterized by a high level of self-service and flexibility.

The Copaco VMware Cloud platform operates from multiple multi-certified datacentres in the Netherlands and Belgium. By combining Copaco’s knowledge and experience with VMware’s technology and functionality, a high-performance platform was created. Partners are able to build their own virtual datacentres with the help of virtual servers, storage and network resources. By integrating VMware NSX into the datacentres, extensive network integration and security are ensured.

For many resellers and service providers, investing in and developing their own proprietary platform is expensive. In addition, requirements in the field of security and compliancy sometimes makes these platforms too complex to manage by oneself. By using Copaco VMware Cloud, these high costs and complexity play no role. With the VCloud Director web portal, a partner can use a complete virtual datacentre with a high level of control and flexibility with regard to servers, the storage and the network.

Copaco VMware Cloud is managed from the Copaco System and Network Operating Centre in Eindhoven. Users can also contact the centre for support. In addition, Copaco offers partners a wide range of possibilities to test Copaco VMware Cloud, while the Copaco Cloud Value Academy provides technical and commercial training. Moreover, Copaco’s technical consultants help with design, deployment and migration.
